Every department at Williston Healthcare & Rehabilitation takes part in the wellbeing of our residents. Our outstanding maintenance department works year-round to keep our Skilled Nursing Facility clean, tidy, and function in top shape.
We take pride in our facility! Our Maintenence Department is responsible for keeping up with our grounds and upkeep of the inside of our facility, including our groundskeeping, taking care of our floors, painting walls, and fixing things in disrepair. As members of our family, we want to provide a welcoming and clean environment for our residents!
The Maintenance Department is also responsible for making sure we are prepared for testing and drills on our major equipment. Our safety preparedness plan includes monthly fire drills and weekly generator inspections. We do thorough checks on our elopement system weekly to see that our residents are always safe.
Maintenance also provides customer service to our residents and their families by assisting with furniture moving, electronics, and picture hanging. We keep up with the residents throughout their stay, helping in any way we can.
